Steve Parkhouse – Director

Steve ParkhouseDirector Steve is a well-known figure on the Bristol Music Scene, having been dubbed Bristol’s very own ‘Mr Music’ in an article featuring Bristol’s Arts & Culture Power List.

Steve has more than earnt this title, having been music chief at Bristol’s beloved Folk House, was Concert Manager at the equally inspiring St George’s, one of the UK’s leading concert halls for 6 years and now concentrates full time on Jelli.

Steve was also a director of BCFM where he hosted the Jelli Records Bristol Music Show for over 6 years.

Steve has always helped local musicians, promoted gigs, run stages at festivals, DJ’ed his own radio shows, but until 2008, he hadn’t ever had a single ‘banner’ under which to unite his extra-curricular musical activities.

Jelli Records was the answer (if the question was, ‘what did Steve do about this?’)
