Jelli Records is a long-time fundraiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind. We  support the charity by sponsoring Guide Dog puppies during their training; Jelli, who is now a working dog in Cumbria, and most recently, Judy and Toby

After Sammy retired in July 2021, we now have a new resident Guide Dog called Peter who regularly attends  Open Mics,  Songwriter nights, and  Festival Stages run by Jelli Records with his owner, Associate Director, Andrew.

Steve Parkhouse

Director

Director Steve is a well-known figure on the Bristol Music Scene, having been dubbed Bristol’s very own ‘Mr Music’ in an article featuring Bristol’s Arts & Culture Power List. Steve has more than earnt this title, having been music chief at Bristol’s beloved Folk House, Concert Manager at the equally inspiring St George’s, one of the UK’s leading concert halls for 6 years and now concentrates full time on Jelli. Steve was also a director of BCFM where he hosted the Jelli Records Bristol Music Show for over 6 years.

Steve has always helped local musicians, promoted gigs, run stages at festivals, DJ’ed his own radio shows, but until 2008, he hadn’t ever had a single ‘banner’ under which to unite his extra-curricular musical activities.

Jelli Records was the answer (if the question was, ‘what did Steve do about this?’)

Andrew Goddard

Associate Director

Andrew was born and lives in Bristol and enjoys all kinds of music! Ex-civil servant and NHS hospital porter, Andrew became more interested in local music when he was invited along to an Open Mic night at his local Pub in 2009. This started a passion for enjoying the music of up-and-coming local and well-established artists.

Andrew is our own in-house representative of the Guide Dogs Association and can often be seen out and about with his Guide dog Peter (who is new to the local music scene).

Chris Pritchett

Associate Director

A lawyer in the daytime and a husband and father the rest of the time, Chris also squeezes in the odd bit of music.

A long-time acoustic musician with a Bristol CV covering Amber (an early duo with the marvellous Jane Taylor), indie-rock band Minerva and recently, current acoustic favourites Jacanda.

Chris met Steve in 2000, and they’ve probably discussed record labels and management on and off since then.
